Job profile / responsibilities : |
- Define and implement different internal processes within Business Intelligence (BI-Finance) team
- Lead developer on Finance BI - Bookings & Revenue reporting; manage and support end users' access, training and similar tasks
- Business objects administration for entire finance group
- Gather and analyze business requirements from business users
- Estimate business objects development efforts and provide timelines in PowerPoint presentations to higher management
- Prepare technical design documents and architecture diagrams using MS Word and Visio
- Analyze the requirements and work with cross-functional teams to get the data from enterprise data warehouse built on TeraData using Informatica
- Design and build complex BO Universes and reports of bookings and revenue subject areas DCT Finance
- Support system integration testing and business acceptance testing cycles to have BO universe tested against different sources like Oracle, Essbase cube, OBIEE Dashboards; liaise with business users to obtain UAT test cases, support UAT process and get UAT sign-offs

- Implementing CMM processes in projects
- System requirement analysis
- Test strategy formulation & test planning
- System testing and all other aspects of software life cycle
- Testing of complex application based on .NET Technologies, Java, Oracle Apps and Mainframes
- Establishing QA process based on the individual project needs
- Test strategy involving resource allocation and distribution
- Test plan preparation, test case execution and defect logging
- Functional and technical specification development and reviews
- Identification of test scenarios and test cases and identification of business and requirement gaps
- Preparation of test scenarios and development of SQL scripts for testing
