Job Title: QA Lead Tester x 3

Qualification:
- Must be educated to at least A Level or equivalent standard
- Degree in games related subject would be preferred
Experienced Required:
- Significant experience in games QA testing across multiple platforms preferably in an outsourced environment
- Experience of leading QA teams preferred

- Excellent team-working skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proven leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure

Job profile / Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a team of up to 30 testers
- Assign tasks to team of Testers including Senior Testers
- Confirmation and validation of bugs
- Mastering and security of project media and hardware
- Communication with clients including reporting
- Organising and maintaining employee shift patterns
- HR tasks related to managing a team such as interviewing, verifying hours, conducting disciplinaries, coaching and training, etc.
- Assisting the sales team in preparing quotes and contracts
- Any other reasonable duties as requested
These positions are on a permanent basis. Applicants must be fully flexible to work between 8am and 2am.

Job Title: Functionality Game Tester
Location: Glasgow

Qualification: A media-related degree would be an advantage

- Gaming experience on one or more platform
- Previous testing experience or knowledge of console submission processes would be a distinct advantage, although comprehensive training will be provided
Skills Required:

- Flexibility, as overtime and weekend work is a possibility

Job profile / Responsibilities:
- Performing manual functionality and certification testing on console, PC and mobile software.
- It would also be helpful if you are local to Glasgow or within commutable distance to our Glasgow site, as no relocation packages are available. These positions are offered on a casual contract basis as we operate on a project by project basis. The main working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.

- Smplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
- Turkish
- Cultural appreciation of both English and the required language

Job profile / Responsibilities:
- Have you ever played a game and been frustrated by poor or incomplete translation, supposed jokes, cultural references that were out of place? Well this is your chance to a made real difference in making games more suitable for their target audiences.
- We want you to bring your passion for both games and language. Localisation testing involves performing language checks on a range of games for a variety of platforms including PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP, DS and various mobile phones.
Main Duties:
- Identifying spelling, grammar, punctuation and other language errors
- Identifying cultural issues
- Logging details of errors/issues found and providing suggestions for improvements
- Ad hoc translations
Contract Details:
- As we operate on a project by project basis, this role is offered on a casual basis
- Up to 40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm or 5.30pm to 2am but flexibility is required
- Overtime pay at time and a half
- Pro-rated holidays
- It would also be helpful if you are local to Glasgow or within commutable distance, as no relocation packages are available
